Headquartered in London England, here at Amis Amore, we’re more than a little obsessed with skincare. We’re also obsessed with the science behind making skin look and feel radiant.
During one of our many deep-dives into skincare science, we came across studies around fascia release, an emerging area of dermatology.
We discovered that fascia act as the support and infrastructure for skin and play a fundamental role in skin health and promoting youthful skin - in fact shortened fascia are the primary cause of deep lines, wrinkles and sagging skin. Yet it seems that they are often neglected when it comes to skincare - which mostly focuses on the upper dermal layers - or massage, which mostly targets the muscles.
COMPLETELY OBSESSED WITH THE SCIENCE
Intrigued by this apparent “gap” we spent the next four years working with clinicians and skin care experts to create a device that, amongst other things, was optimised to release tight and shortened fascia.
